SUMMERLAND GARDEN

this is a place that i will not have come to, in this point of life
for summerland garden is a paradise which sums up the setbacks of life.
we pay the price of labor to shape this beautiful dream,

as it was realized just this year 2014, i've made a considerable amount of sacrifice
to paint and craft this painting out which usually took several months.
spending a lot more attention compared to my graduate projects
also, i've intended to put a guardian over looking this field
which had it removed due to superstitious beliefs.
setting off with spring colors
and here are the colors for the sky
creamy ice cream, pleasantly lost in this reverie
this is a color palette that i've never attempted before
infinite sun with the face of a new born
and hence it did not survive till the end of the painting, after-all seen as a bad omen.
tulips in mid bloom
sweet roses and juicy cherries for the color palette
one thing i have not touched is the kitchen though i enjoyed strawberry pastries
tonight we make out, us
love and create
pastoral fields
these were the times with my painting,
possibly more than a 3 month journey.
painting, something that you see grow with time, feelings grow
flowers don't grow anymore in this summerland garden.
they will forever be in this mid-bloom state; and will never bloom
giving us the impression as we await for the excitement to (bloom, life)
yet terrified of the sudden (withering, death)
in this painting, they do not wither nor bloom. it does not celebrate or mourn
the saddness would not last forever nor the prolonging of happiness
bad or good, both are momentarily

for i know the ending of this painting, the attachment it was given to
it wasn't a happy painting meant for meant's sake,
this was a commissioned completed, then completely turned down
it was devastating. ( speaking humanly )

IF YOU WERE HURT BY PEOPLE YOU TRUSTED, YOU DO NOT HEAL BY MISTRUSTING EVERYONE. NOR WILL YOU HEAL BY WISHING THEM HARM. TO DO SO IS TO PUNISH YOUR OWN SOUL WITH THEIR ACT OF BETRAYAL.
- Dodinsky
this will be the last garden i will be painting for now, beautiful things ask for attention
bringing along danger.
