Going through art making brings about
certain kind of madness and intense desire for freedom of self-expression
unlike when most fashion were made to command a certain type of langauge
which needs to emcompass the acceptance of the public.
This series is a collision between fashion and art,
we started off with the idea of Fauvism.
Fauvism is an art movement started in 1905 led by artist Henri Matisse.
With the influence of the color palette, eye popping color choices,
we juxtaposed the gears with raw background,
topping with multiple edits to bring about frenzy emotions
like wild beast and madmen of the Fauves.
The explosion of colors on Aiwei Foo’s extraordinary fully hand beaded OTT Capelet
was indeed the ideal wear for CEREAL (surreal) SIBLINGS.
Like cereal (OTT capelet), there comes a mix of choices of colors in ingredients
before the dilution of milk to give the blend a unique taste;
the same ideology as we approach in this shoot next,
when we bring about the Dual Shirt worn by Orsqr.
Muted in colors, almost plain (like milk), somewhat giving fauvist movement earlier a twist
into a religious approach as we progress when we went shooting from the dungeon (canal)
all the way to picturesque Roman carved Fountain of life.

yet share the dilution of their personal beliefs and the otherwordly experiences
through ways of expression with art and fashion.

Aiwei Foo is outrageous and elaborative to the extent that it is ʻmaximalistʼ.
The design of the sequin-work was semi planned as the colour coordination
and the general design aesthetic were contemplated
but the details during beading were more spontaneous and intuitive.
